The position as a Surveying Project Manager is a fast paced and dynamic role within the management team of the Home Repairs Service on a permanent, full time basis. This would primarily involve providing technical support and building surveying project management to your portfolio of social housing properties.

Further responsibilities would include:

• Project ownership from project inception to completion for the day to day scoping of works, which would include preparation of plans and pre-build meeting construction oversight
• Ensuring delivery teams and contractors carry out repair works on time and to budget
• Surveying and identifying building defects in customer homes and communal spaces, and conducting the initial triage and reports of damp and mould cases
• Supporting the property delivery teams with technical knowledge

• Experience in delivering large scale building projects
• A formal Building qualification (BSC/ HNC/ HNC etc)
• Experience of working with asset management, response repairs and/or programmed works
• Experience of identifying asbestos
• Working knowledge of Schedule of Rates
• Additional qualifications would also be a advantageous, such as ISOH or in Fire Safety
