The Role:

The position will require an experienced individual to successfully project manage major construction schemes from inception to completion. Duties are likely to include:

• Technical, cost and feasibility studies
• Produce detailed Action Plans
• Identify and mitigate potential risks
• Conduct regular project and cost reviews reporting to board and stakeholders
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, contractors and suppliers
• Prepare projects for external procurement
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget and agreed timescales

The Person:

You should have demonstrable project management experience with a track record in delivering capital works schemes in the public and private sector. A collaborative individual with the ability to problem solve, lead teams and work to deadlines, you should be able to communicate effectively and possess sound commercial acumen. Applicants should ideally have:

• A min degree level or equivalent in Construction, Project Management or Civil Engineering
• Prince 2 qualification
• A professional membership i.e. RICS, CIOB
• UK driving licence with ability to travel to sites when required
• IT literacy
