An opportunity has arisen for a confident person looking to make their mark on an established not for profit framework provider based in London, and act as the subject matter expert in energy efficiency. The Group Technical Manager specialising in Energy Efficiency would lead on the recommendations for energy efficiency across our clients’ registered framework providers, and provide quality advice on the funding schemes for carbon reduction across a social housing and public property portfolio. With a good understanding of UK Building Regulations, the Group Technical Manager would advise on modern method construction, decarbonisation and energy efficiency, and assist on the process of energy grant applications.
The candidate must be confident speaking about the specifications for energy efficiency, renewable heat and/ or decarbonisation, and be experienced in evaluating bid submissions against written specification requirements. Further responsibilities will include representing our client at conferences and educating staff on energy efficiency and legislation, and so good communication skills are essential.
