One of Europe’s leading privately owned Construction and Property Consultants are seeking an ambitious and energetic Graduate/Assistant Project Manager to join their flagship Birmingham office.
This national firm has over a century of experience in the industry, successfully delivering a range of professional services to an impressive client base. They have a varied portfolio of projects that cover most sectors; including Retail, Industrial, Commercial, Education, Leisure and Infrastructure. The company invests in their people who define the values of the business to ensure that their clients receive exceptional standards of service. They are currently engaged on some high profile major regeneration developments, many of these are complex multi phased schemes, and their current project list will enable the right candidate to progress their career to the next level.
As a Graduate Project Manager your responsibilities will include the provision of full consultancy PM services to clients on a variety of developments nationally, right from conception through to completion, while under the guidance of an experienced Senior Project Manager. You must be highly personable and confident in a client facing role, with a willingness to travel.
The successful Graduate Project Manager will hold a relevant construction degree and ideally have some experience/practical working knowledge. Ideally this experience will have been gained within a consultancy environment; additional experience delivering projects in Logistics and Hotel/Leisure sectors would be useful. You must have the desire and a good understanding of how to obtain a full construction based subscription with a recognised institution (RICS, APM, CIOB).
You will have the ambition and drive to deliver a high quality professional service, with excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels. You will have effective problem solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions, be a good team worker, with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision using your own initiative with a flexible approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
