An opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic social housing provider in Bath on a permanent basis within the Building Safety team. With properties across the South West of England, this organisation aims to provide affordable homes for residents from a variety of backgrounds.
The position as a Fire Safety Officer is a junior role that will primarily focus on the management of the affordable housing providers’ fire risk assessment programme, and has great progression opportunities available.
Responsibilities would primarily include:
- Assigning tasks to the rest of the team
- Planning and organising the daily responsibilities of the Fire safety team
- Assisting colleagues within the business with your fire safety knowledge
The ideal candidate would possess the relevant fire safety qualifications and have at least 10 months experience within the fire safety sector, along with a driving license. Good organisational and planning abilities, along with proficiency with IT would also be advantageous.
