Exciting Opportunity for a Smart Building Technical Specialist up to £100k plus benefits package
Are you a Smart Building Technical Specialist looking for a new role? An opportunity has been created for a large MEP Building Services contractor. The company are a market leader and extremely reputable which means they can offer progression and commitment to their staff. The location is flexible across several of the regional offices including Birmingham, Derby, London, Oxford, Plymouth, Portishead or St Austell. Travel to other offices and customer sites will be required.

Requirements:
- Knowledge on architecting, deploying, troubleshooting, and with the operation of highly scalable IoT solutions, preferably for connected buildings.
- Experience of secure networks to support smart building platforms
- Good understanding of system interoperability, connectivity and applications along with standards such as HL7
- Passion for innovation and how technology can help simplify buildings operations
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organisations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
- Proficient in the use of office-based IT applications, presentation and document authoring
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Representing the organisation in all matters related to smart buildings and acting as a subject matter expert to help customers and consultants understand the possibilities and develop a strategy around real-world requirements.
- Designing, developing, and delivering smart building solutions to meet customer needs, from sensor implementation to control, fault detection, and diagnostic systems.
- Collaborating with external and internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to deliver smart building projects that meet customer requirements on time and within budget.
- Developing technical documentation and presenting to clients and stakeholders to explain the benefits of smart building solutions.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations in the smart building sector and identifying opportunities to develop new products and services to meet customer needs.
- Providing support to the sales and marketing teams by participating in customer meetings, presentations, and trade shows.
