Location: Bristol / South Gloucestershire
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services consultancy. You will support the delivery of mechanical and electrical design and project management services across a variety of building projects, from concept through to completion. This role provides excellent exposure to consultancy work and practical engineering delivery in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with electrical engineering design for building services projects, including lighting, power distribution, earthing & bonding, and compliance with regulations.
  • Produce technical calculations, schematic drawings, and specifications using CAD and engineering software.
  • Support senior engineers in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, risk assessments, and tender documentation.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, public health, and structural engineering colleagues to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Help manage project deliverables to meet programme milestones and quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong technical foundation in electrical systems and building services.
  • Proficiency with technical software (CAD/Revit, electrical calculation tools) is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
