Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across a diverse range of building projects, ensuring high-quality, sustainable solutions
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and contract documentation
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing
• Act as a primary client and consultant contact, supporting project coordination and delivery
• Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Support project planning, budgeting, and fee proposals
• Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices

Candidate Profile

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline
• Chartered or working toward CEng status (IET, CIBSE, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, NES, Cymap, and MS Office
• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Full UK driving licence
• Proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality design solutions
