Employer’s Agent – Bristol – Up to £45,000 + car allowance
An excellent opportunity to suit someone with a Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying background who is looking for something a little bit different!
A well respected and long established Property & Construction consultancy are in need of a driven and personable Employer’s agent to join their team in Bristol.
The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience of delivering EA/Contract Administration duties for new build residential projects for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Developers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with the development of project briefs and procuring necessary consultancy services to develop a project to planning/submission tender.
- Assisting with the preparation of tender packages and undertaking various forms of tender processes.
- Assisting Senior Surveyors in reviewing Contractor/Developer and Designer proposals and ensuring that the requirements are fulfilled.
- An understanding of development control and funding/delivery standards within the housing sector.
- Chairing progress meetings and proactively managing projects on an ongoing basis.
- Undertaking all administrative duties on the delivery of developments under the terms of JCT, Design & Build, and Bespoke Development Agreements.
- Routinely reporting on time, cost and quality to the client and managing associated risks.
- Successfully managing the handover process and post-completion activities.
